brown wrapping paper, patriotic border. cut out and hung "United We Stand" used tempra paint in red, white and blue on their hands and let them "stamp" thir prints all over. Signed names when they dried.

Owl on a tree limb, "Whoooo does great work?" and let them hang a piece of work they are proud of. "Whoooo has great handwriting?" and display an example.

Book review. Brown background-dirt. Some leaves and green twisted craft paper to make vines. You leave a pile of pumpkin cutouts and as they finish a book they write a review on the pumpkin. This can take you all the way until Christmas decorations.
