Take a deep breath and

start to plan some down time just for you. Being a first year teacher you do have a lot more time to put into the job because you are starting out from scratch. BUT.... you still need to take care of yourself. Plan for
at least 2 weeknights and 1 day on the weekend where you do not work late at school and you do not work on school things at home for more than about 30 minutes.

If you are close enough to a larger center - get out for an evening and go to a movie, shopping, etc., If you are like me and there is not much around where you live - plan for evenings inside - rent a movie, invite over a colleague

to dinner, read a book, call friends and family - go to bed early, bake, etc., Whatever you really enjoy doing that you haven't been because school work has you too busy.

Begin to really look at the school work you are doing - remember you do not have to mark everything your students are doing.

Your administration knows you have low students - chances are this is not a surprise to anyone - do what you can and don't worry if they are not all up to par for the test. You will learn more tricks every year and all you can ever do is your best. We are not miracle workers (although sometimes we feel we need to be) and we do have to take care of ourselves or we do burn out.
