Too many questions

I don't think you are being mean at all. I think we all have had those students that ask questions just for attention. I have one this year. Last week, I gave him 3 tokens and told him he had to use them to ask questions. If it is a good question, I'll return the token. If not, I keep the token and when he uses up all three, he can't ask anymore questions for the day. It may seem strict but it lets me teach the rest of the class. It worked very well last week. You might want to explain why you are doing this to a parent ahead of time.
