I'm in the middle of cooking supper so I can't write as long a response as I would like to. I'll come back later tonight or tomorrow though to add to this.

I found a lot of very useful tips and ideas on dealing with some very difficult students. I do have some other ideas as well that worked for my two really difficult students at least some of the time that I'll share later.

Meanwhile your students are very fortunate to have you in their corner as it's very obvious you care about all of them including your difficult one.
