I totally agree with the above poster. I might add oneor two things though.
1. Leave the room as neat or neater then when you found it.
2. Volunteer to help out a neighbouring teacher if you have a prep. Good word
spreads fast. if the neighbor says you are pleasant and helpful then you are already sonone they want back.

If you are having a particularly haggaring day and can't bare the idea os going to another class then have some accountability for your time. Mark a spelling test (never attempt to apply a grade different people use different systems) clean the room and tell her about it in

a note.
Every class has got strugging readers volunteer to take one or two back to your room for some one on one help.

The more visable you are the more likely you are to return.
