naps

This is my first year of teaching and I have full day K (7:50-3:00). We take our naps from about 2:15-2:50 most days. By this time of the day, the kids are really worn out from everything we have done and it helps to end our day on a mellow note. Last week I had 9 of my 13 fall asleep! I think at this point in the year they really still need that time to rest, though we may phase it out or at least shorten it later in the year.
