Writing Centers
By Lori

Clip to ScrapBook
Here are some ideas I use!

1. Stamp a story: The children use rubber stamps. (I limit it to three) and write a short story or at this point sentences that go with them.

2. Have them cut pictures out and glue and write something to go with it.

3. Have them make books, at this time of year I have mostly fill-in the blank types.

4. Make a silly sentence I have cards with nouns and verbs (Will add adjectives, etc.) They chose a person or thing card, a place card and an action card. They write their sentence and illustrate it. (Make the cards different colors to make it easier)
