One of our math teachers had a cute and quick bb. She found a pattern of a calculator that was pretty big and had the students color it and cut it out. She then put a banner that said "Add It Up" 3rd Grade is great at math. The students wrote something they liked about math on the calculator screen and she stapled them on the bb.
The only time you spend is letting kids color and cut.
You could make this into any subject area by getting a different design.
