PTO
By D.Beam

Clip to ScrapBook
I, too, am required to attend a certin number of PTO meetings. Our principal of two years has all of a sudden decided to plan other events on these PTO evenings. I am working on my specialists degree and I have to attend
class on the same nights as the meetings. I have already had to miss one class meeting because my principal made the meeting mandatory. She is also making another meeting mandatory in the next two weeks. I would not have registered for this particular night for class but this is the only night that the prerequisite course was taught and it won't be taught again until next fall (which
would probably cause the same problems then). What do you think? Some of the other teachers have jobs on that night and have not been to a PTO meeting in years. What is the difference?
