Thank-you for all the responses. Our union already knows about it. They haven't done a single thing yet. The Kindergarten teachers called them when they found out they had carcinogenic poisoning.
Its black mold thats
growing all over the pipes. The roof has very bad leaks and thats what we think is causing all of the mold.
The Parents???? Well if you knew what they were like, you know they wouldn't care. You know as soon as you walk into the building that something is wrong. You can smell the mold and after a few minutes in the building, you can barely breathe from your allergies acting up.

Sometimes they tell us the mold is just dust??!!!! Can you believe that?!
The EPA was called a few years back-they took pictures, told the acting principal at the time these things needed to get fixed, and we haven't heard anything from them since I was told.
Having the parents get involved would help out tremendously....unfortunately that would never happen. They never get involved. We have so many things wrong in our district that could easily be fixed with parental involvment. Our president of the board actually killed someone yet he still got voted into that position (shot someone in The Dominican Republic). Our gym teacher got a student pregnant in the high school yet all he got was a slap on the wrist and was transferred to my school. Like I said before, I could tell you stories that would make your head spin...
Calling OSHA sounds like a good idea...so does taking samples of the mold. I will print these things out and take them to school on MOnday...thank-you once again.
