Just me...
By Reese

Clip to ScrapBook
I choose my read alouds based on my favorites. We spend so much time requiring an assignment after reading or some sort of project, I think it is important for kids to also know that we read for FUN! I read chapter books aloud during read aloud time (one a month).

"Sideways Stories from Wayside School" in August. It has funny short chapters that kids ask to be read again and again.

"Because of Winn Dixie" in September. Great book!!! Serious book, lots of harsh realities, mother leaving, war, etc, but wonderful book. My children loved it!

"The Witches" or "Charlie and the CHocolate factory" by Roald Dahl in October and probably some of November ( they are a bit longer).

Read aloud is my favorite thing to do, so we do a lot of it!
