shapes

Clip to ScrapBook
one thing i did with shapes, was a shape picture. depending on your classes ability you might want to precut the shapes yourself. i used a black construction paper backround and used different colored copy paper, bright colors look best, to cut into shapes. then allow the children to use those shapes to make a shape picture. they can make houses, cars, trees, people, and so on. when they are done, ask them what shapes they used to make the picture.
