Hi Christy,
Hope these answers help you out!

I have had a few ADHD children in my classroom throughout the years. I found that keeping them in a routine (doing the same thing at the same time in the same way) helps
to keep them focused. I know many special ed teachers that swear by routines. If your organized, the child will become organized. I try to give ADHD students the least amount of items to keep in their desks. They will be tempted to play with everything around them. I give directions to them slowly...one thing at a time so they don't become overwhelmed. I don't give the next direction
until they completed the first one.

How do I teach multiculturism in my classroom??? I study one country a month with my students. I issue them passports and we travel around the world from September to June. The students love this because they learn about so many different cultures and traditions that wouldn't have ever known about.
