Look what I did with a leaf!

There is a great book called "Look What I Did with a Leaf" which shows animals created from different types and colors of leaves. I show the pictures to my 5th graders, then they go outside and gather a variety of leaves. We press them overnight, then lay them all out on a table. Students then create their own leaf critters or copy one from the book. They are glued on paper, then I laminate them, and lastly, they are a beautiful bulletin board!
