How about....
By Pam

Clip to ScrapBook
- tatoos (fake of course- maybe older students (middle or high school) could come draw fall or school mascot tatoos on students

- pin the hat on the scarecrow- I did this in my 4th grade class a couple of years ago- kids
loved it. I made a large "scarecrow" instead of donkey, and then made some hats (all on my trusty computer, no art talent in my genes).

- chalk art- outside on the playground

-Apple prints- kids make a print of an apple, (sliced in half) then add to their print by using markers. Make an apple person, animal....

- We were fortuante enought to have some local people who made apple

cider. They came and did a demo for groups of 10-15 kids to watch, then each kid got the sample some of the cider. DO you have a local orchard that might want to get involved with you?

I'm not certain of your purpose for your "fall festival". Is this a fund raising thing, or a school wide activity. When we did our fall festival a few years ago, it was more of a school wide activity to replace the Halloween parties. These ideas might not work if it is more of a fund raiser.

Good luck!
