Still early

It is still early in the year. Give it a few more weeks when flu season kicks in etc..and they should start calling. If not, sign up with a different district. Last year one district only called me twice the entire year! (They use interns, but nobody tells you that). All districts have their "regular" subs and last year I turned nothing down: I subbed as a para (aide), 1/2 days, anything, just to prove I was a reliable sub. They'll call you first for the jobs nobody else wants. How many grade levels did you say you'd sub for? Try adding the middle school or high school, at least you'd get paid. Good subs are hard to find so be careful not to give it away for free!
