adventure books
By Annie

Clip to ScrapBook
Gary Paulson's books are all great adventure stories. There is a series that begins with "Hatchet" and is followed by several others about the same boy, Brian and his survival in the wilderness.

Sharon Creech has a good one too, though a little long, called "The Wanderer".

"Wild Man Island" is pretty gripping and a mystery as well, by Will Hobbs.

There's always the classics, "The Incredible Journey," by Sheila Burnford, "James and the Giant Peach," by Roald Dahl and "The Black Stallion," by Walter Farley, too.

I hope this helps.
