Clip to ScrapBook
You need to ask your union representative about this. You will probably need to file a grievance but your union steward should be able to do this. We have certain times in the day that we have supervisory but not in the
morning. Our contracts holds that we are not responsible for lunch time or recess unless it isour supervisory. The moring thing is rediculous. If nothing can be done then you should get the teachers together and split the time you need to supervise so that you don't have to do it every day. It should be stated in your contract what time you need to be there. our school starts at 8:00
and we have to be there at 7:45 but only a few teachers have morning duty. The elem I worked at the kids could not be in the building until 8:10 they weren't suppose to be here until 8:20 they go to the cafeteria and are monitored by paras. School started at 8:30 and they could go their rooms at 8:25. Good Luck
