simple plan

My Book-It plan is simple. My kids are required (though not all of them do) to read 20+ minutes a night for homework. So I give Book-It to kids who have read 80% or more of the nights for that month. It doesn't seem like a motivator, but I had a really smart little girl last year who started to finally do her homework so she could "buy" a pizza for her beloved older brother. It just saves me from having to calulate yet one more thing since I already have it in my grade book.
