Clip to ScrapBook
I know that difficult parents can be a nightmare. The only thing I can say is to remember to always treat her son just like you would the others and document everything. It doesn't have to be fancy. I had a parent like that
so I just put a spiral notebook in the student's file and jotted down quick notes when things arose.

As for her saying things to other students, be strong and tell her that she is not allowed to talk to the other students at all. I had a parent last year who confronted a young girl in the parking lot and yelled at her for being mean to her daughter.... I told her that what she did

was inappropriate and asked her how she would have felt if the situation had been reversed and an adult was yelling or saying mean things to her daughter. I have learned that I have a choice in how I let people talk to me and if I don't like how they are treating me I will end the conversation (politely) and leave. Just because she is a parent does not give her the right to bully others.
