I tattled

I got fed up with the librarian at school because it seems she never wants to take my class. The computer teacher and her split the class and the 45 minute period.

Last week the computer teacher came to get my class and
said she would take the library kids to the library since the librarian was not with her. Twenty minutes later as I was working my classroom I heard the school secretrary say she was wondering where the libarian was. I went to the office to tell her she was with my class. The secretary said no she wasn't with my class because the computer teacher called to the office wanting to know

where the librarian was. I went back to my room to let my aide know that I was going to look for the libarian and I heard her tell the secretary she was going to teach my class. I then heard her go into the teacher's room. At that point I was boiling. I went into the teacher's room and told her she better get her butt to the library because my class was there with the computer teacher. She said she got delayed because she was having the staff sign birtday cards for our monthly birtday celebration at lunch. I told her she was there for the kids and thats what she was being paid for.

All the while the principal and VP went out to lunch because it was the VP's birthday. I wrote the principal a note telling her what happened. She supported my position and had the woman in her office.

I apologized to her but she just made a face and started crying. I was sorry I yelled at her but I am not sorry for ratting her out to the principal. My position is you don't mess with my kids... they got short changed out of their little computer /library.
