My best friend (who is also a teacher at a different school), had an experience like this once. When she dropped off her kids one day, she stated "We will be doing "so-n-so" next week and I want them to do this particular art project". She told her what she wanted done and the Art teacher did it. At my school, we had an Art teacher one year (he only lasted one year and was let go). Everyday (EVERYDAY!!!) that they had Art, they came back with a sheet of computer paper where they had free draw time. This was with every class in every grade. When it came time for the Spring Art Show, he had NOTHING to put up two weeks before the show. He had to bust butt to get something done. He was out the door at the end of school, looking for another job. Now I am not as braisen as my friend, but I would say something like the first poster and tell her you want to extend her lesson in your classroom. Ask if there is a time for you two to meet to discuss and go over her plans. Maybe that will work. Anyway, this IS your business and needs to be fixed! Good luck and let us know how it goes and what you decide to do!
