The IEP states how much time time the child gets special ed. services. The maximum time for a child in regular ed with a special ed. teacher who pushes in or does consultant services (this sounds like what you have) is 600 minutes a week. If an IEP states there is to be special ed services in a class then those are the services the child has to get.
