Clip to ScrapBook
I teach elementary self-contained classroom (4th, 5th, 6th graders) I have found using color coded composition books for each subject and use the same color folder for loose papers handed in or back. On the inside of the
folders I write TO BE DONE on the left pocket side and DONE on the right pocket. HW to do goes in proper side and when completed student places in other pocket. Most of my students have used it correctly so far.
I also use an envelope taped to the side of the desk and have students place papers throughout the day that have not been completed in it. This eliminates the problem of stuffing
loose papers into desks. Continuing the same routine daily is very important, even small changes in routines can through children with "differences" into a tailspin.
