Clip to ScrapBook
I'm not sure what back to school night is? If it is like an Open House where parents come to meet the teacher and see the room... I've seen a class make self-portraits using paper plates that are sat at the students' seats. I had my students write a sentence on sentence strips and we attached the "heads" to these and used them as arms. Just attach hands to the ends. Another teacher does a scavenger hunt for the parents to make sure they visit all important areas of the room. My son's teacher had him leave us a note and then we had to write back. My daughter's teacher had us guess which "Self-portrait" was hers by having us put a post-it note next to our guess. Hope this is what you were looking for.
