The Hypocrisy of it all

Krissy-

It is the teaching that we all love. If I could have a one-room school house all would be perfect in the universe.

What I DO have is this:

Principals who go to a "retreat" where someone's (apparently taxpayer) money has gone to hire a speaker to tell them to put up a sign in the teacher's workroom to tell us to stop whining..

That 1/3 of teachers are good for nothing and need to be run off.

That I am not old enough to know what to do despite my advanced education.

The students are wonderful.
teaching is wonderful.
It is all the other crap that one must suffer through in between all those "aha" moments.
Sometimes that crap comes in in truckloads and weighs you down.
