Morning Message

I use interactive writing with my students to write the MM. I use as many concepts about print items and popcorn words as I can. I always ask a question and add the exclamation "I love you!" at the end so that all types of punctuation are used.
Example:My Dear Super Stars,
Today is Friday, October 1, 2004. We will have Art with Ms. Layton. We will read the book, "Stellaluna" and then make bats to put in the bat cave in the hall. Did you bring your Show and Tell?
