Yes, I've talked to the parents. One parent told me that the kid does it to himself and that she doesn't stress him at all. The other kids have told me that their parents ground them for not making A's.

I average their grades every now and then to show them that they still have an A in class, but it doesn't negate the fact that they made a B or C on an assignment. They eventually get over it, but I just feel bad when I have to had them a paper that's not up to par. Hopefully it encourages them to work harder, but I don't know.
