Middle Behavior???

I think it's great that you remember a lot of students names. The only problem I see is telling a child that you don't remember his name because he was in the middle regarding behavior. That can be a little discouraging to a child. He may feel that his behavior wasn't good enough for you to remember. I would tell him that with all of the students I work with, it's hard to remember everyone's name and leave it at that. Just trying to help you avoid a problem or confrontation. Children seem to go home sometimes and take the smallest thing and blow it out of proportion.
