Tattling

I have used a tattle bag when I taught kindergarten. It was a bag with a face on it in the corner of the room. If they had a tattle, they went to tell the bag. If was actually pretty amusing to watch them actually go to the bag and talk to it. It did eliminate most of the tattling. I have second grade now and if they are tattling I ask them if they are broken, bleeding or going to be sick! They are the emergencies, if it is not one of them then they need to keep it to themselves. I hope this helps. Good Luck!
