During my student teaching we did "Fall Into a Good Book" and it's good for any grade. As for Halloween, we had students write spooky poems and write them inside a template (pumpkins, witches, ghosts, etc.). Another great idea is Acrostic poems for Halloween. These come out great and have the students illustrate.
