peanuts
By Sandra

Clip to ScrapBook
My son, who is now 23, has severe allergic reactions to peanuts. I like the idea of asking the children what they would like, or ask the parents for suggestions. They have lived with it for years and can give you good suggestions.
(My son actually had to be taken to the emergency room in the third grade after an art project (bird feeder of peanut butter on pine cones!!) Make sure all teachers who come in contact with these children are aware of the dangers. (Actually, this is the parent's responsibility, but many parents forget to tell art, music, P.E., etc.)
