Unfortunatly you will still have to use that principal and job as a reference. Somehow you are going to have to get what he or she says on tape or somekind of written document. This type of thing goes on in other places too. Good luck in the job hunt - small towns have big ears. As for what goes around comes around - I wish it was so - I been waiting for 15 years for someone to get what they deserve.
