Agree with your rule By Jenn

I agree with your rule. However, I can see how this could be a sticky situation. Who's student supposedly did the hitting first? My guess and please correct me if I'm wrong is yours. My co-worker is consistently nagging| on my students. It gets very frustrating. The rules are different too but that is a different vent. I understand that your rules are the same in your class as well as the reading class. I, completely agree with the "who you see" thing. How do you really know? My take on this is she is feeling like her student got punished but not yours kind of thing. Kind of like a "picking on | | my students" feeling. I, guess, because I feel that way I can see her side. I think in this situation you were 100% correct. The difference in the situations, is that my co-worker picks at the little things. She even called me in to tell me how awful my students papers were that they wrote while in her class. So please don't take what I said as being mean. I just wanted to say as a teacher who consistently has her students picked on I would probably overreact to that situation because I would feel like the other teacher ignored her student on purpose.
