Still No Luck
By Debra

Clip to ScrapBook
I have not had any luck in getting a bankruptcy. If you want to get loans latter - say for grad school or some other type of training how will this affect you? Did they allow you a possibility of consolidation or rehabilitation
of the loan? I live in Indiana and the laws for bankruptcy on loans must be different here. I am even trying to rehabilitate it so I can go back to school and study something else. Teaching simply doesn't have the jobs available in most states. Subbing pay is just too low. I would like to return to school and get something in the healthcare field since that is where the jobs
are. But with a degree you can't get pell or scholarships from the state. Once you are in default on the student loans you can't borrow anymore either or get work study assistance. Let's face it you can't pay back loans on low sub pay and pay your living expenses.
