If you are subbing in the elementary schools, they will usually have name tags on their desks and you can either look at those or see whose chair is not down. You can also look at the hot lunch/cold lunch chart for the day and note whose clip is not there. Usually the kids will be helpful if you just mention, who is not here today? Was this helpful?
