at home

Clip to ScrapBook
My cousin's 4 year old is at home with her mom and her baby sister. My cousin does work with her to learn her numbers, alphabet, ect. When I was at the family dinner my cousin's daughter(the 4 year old) was signing the entire alphabet and counting for everyone. I was very impressed that since she isn't in daycare or pre-k she knows these things. She really can't go to daycare cause the daycares in my cousin's area are also pretty expensive. I just think that early childhood education should be for everyone. It seems that it is only for the rich who can pay for it and the low-income who are given it by government funding. So the middle class really misses out.
