writer's workshop

Our district just bought Lucy Calkins this year. I just started my writer's workshop yesterday, so the students have had 2 days of it. I have seen a lot of enthusiasm on the students' part, because it is so student-centered and they are so proud of their work. I just wonder whether it ever gets old. The students are fresh with ideas now, but I wonder if they ever get bored with it. Just curious, but it seems really good so far.
