Clip to ScrapBook
Students do an average of 1 hour a night exclusive of special projects, plus 20 minutes of reading and 5 minutes of math facts (if they don't have them down yet). Weekends, too. We gauge the time frame on the mid to low level students when we assign. For instance a spelling assignment that should probably take only 10 minutes, we'll ascribe 20 minutes to. So most children do not spend an entire hour. Unless, of course, they have saved up lots of things until the last minute!
