They love it!

I read the series last year to my third graders and they loved it so much we continued reading them together throughout the summer. We made it through to book 5. Our group (along with their parents) plans on seeing the movie together in December. I started reading it to my class this year also. I just love how he offers the meanings of new vocabulary words inside the story. I believe it's quite appropriate for a read aloud. As far as individual reading, I personally would level it at fourth grade level(QRS).
