subtraction game
By teach4h

Clip to ScrapBook
I have my students play a game where they pair up and each one writes the number 100 on a piece of paper. Then one person rolls a pair of dice (I have dice with numbers from 0-9), makes a number and subtracts this number from 100. Then the other person has a turn rolling and subtracting. They continue to roll and subtract until someone reaches zero. The person reaching zero first is the winner.
If they get down to low numbers and can't subtract from what's left, I let them roll just one die, or have them lose their turn.
