professor

Clip to ScrapBook
Oh, my professor does think that elementary kids should be able to do power point(again I think is ridiculous) but for this assignment we pick a content area such as social studies, science, math, or reading and present the
lesson(as if we were teaching it to the children) by using power point. My professor made that comment about kids being able to do power point awhile back when she was talking about technology in the classroom, which had nothing to do with this assignment. She's very unclear, and hasn't taught kids in like 20 years, which could be a reason. She also thinks that teachers should write out
lesson plans with all the objectives and state standards. I'm not sure about that. Thats fine for students who are preparing to be teachers, but I sure hope once I start teaching I don't have to do all that lengthy writing for simple lesson plans.
