Round-robin option

I am sure the round-robin dilemma is just one of many with SRA. One thing you could do is adapt the "radio reading" strategy by assigning students passages they will be responsible for reading during round robin. They can practice at home the night before (which is a reward in itself) and all student can be prepared when reading orally. This would help if your concern is embarrassing students who are not proficient oral readers.
