Thinking of quitting every year

I applaud your ability to get out. Most of the teachers I know complain about teaching. I have been teaching 5 years after having a career in marketing.

What no one ever told me was how "jr high" teaching would be. I love my kids and would thrive in a one-room school house. However I have to put up with the arrested development of some of these backwoods teachers.

I am just bidding my time until my student loans are payed off and then I am looking toward teaching at a community college, where hopefully I can have more control of what I teach and how.
