Chicago to "Outsource" 100 Schoools

As part of Rennaisance 2010, Chicago will close 100 schools and reopen them as charter or contract schools. My public school is at about 3x maximum capacity and have been looking forward to having a new school built a mile away that would ease our overcrowding. They decided to add it to the Rennaisance 2010 program. I assume that after Rennaisance 2010, the next step is Dark Ages 2020.
