Tell
By Jen

Clip to ScrapBook
I also was pregnant last year. I worked until the day I went into labor. My water broke right there at school! I told my principal right away. She answered by saying, "That's surprising." Yet I am married and had one
child already. Anyways, I had the baby late March. When I told my principal the news when I was about 10weeks I told her that I would work as long as I can but would not be returning at the end of the year. I told her first, then I told the parents at open house, the children last. When my last evaluation came up when she told me that I was rehired that is when I told her that I will
be returning the following year. I to had my sub picked out well before Thanksgiving, had her in the classroom all the time so she knew the kids and the building.
I learned with this particular Principal that honesty is the best policy. She will repect you more for it.
Congratulations and enjoy your pregnancy and the years to come!
Jen
