When teaching about plants, you must have the real thing. Bring in plants and make cuttings. Get planting and collecting data. Kids love to plant. Dwarf cherry tomato plants work out great in the classroom. If you buy a few from a catalog and you can save the seeds for future projects. The kids love bring home the plants and having tomatoes growing on the window. Get on the net and find a resource for these plants.
