Thanks for the tips. It sounds like we do a lot of things the same way -- letting students vote on books for groups, etc. The key is to do what works for your students and for you, the teacher. I'll go to the website you mentioned. I'll keep you posted as I begin to model the response letters for my students. Hey, I'm really jealous! Fall break!!!!!!! How long does that last? We get a day off to prep for 1st quarter grades and parent conferences and that's it until Thanksgiving. When did your classes start? You aren't doing year-round school are you? More later,
