Slice of bread, Slice of Cheese Use pumpkin or other shape. Call them_Pumpkin Melts. Cut out shape from bread and cheese. Put cheese cut out on top of bread cut out. Melt in microwave and eat. PUMPKIN
Cool Whip and Pecans Let ice cream soften enough to allow stirring. Stir in all ingredients and pour in 9x13 inch pan with graham cracker crust. Freeze. Before serving, add Cool Whip and top with pecans. PUMPKIN BREAD 3 cups sugar 3 teaspoons soda 1 cup salad oil 1 ¼ teaspoons salt 4 eggs 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon nutmeg 2/3 cup water 2 cups pumpkin ---I use canned pumpkin 3 ½ cups flour 1 teaspoon vanilla ½ cup chopped walnuts Leave out the walnuts and it will be cheaper to make. Cream together sugar, oil and eggs. Add salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, soda, flour, pumpkin and water; mix well. Stir in walnuts. Pour batter into 4 greased loaf pans, 7x3-inch. Bake in 350 degree oven for one hour or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Bread freezes nicely. PUMPKIN DESSERT 3 eggs¼ teaspoon nutmeg 1 cup sugar½ teaspoon salt 1 (13 ounce can evaporated milk 1/4 teaspoon ginger 1 teaspoon cinnamon Topping: 1 box yellow cake mix 1 1/2 sticks margarine ½ cup chopped walnuts....Leave out the walnuts and it will be cheaper to make. Mix together and pour into 9x13 pan. Sprinkle 1 box yellow cake mix on top. Melt 1 ½ sticks margarine and pour over cake mix. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 to 60 minutes. Top with Cool Whip or ice cream when ready to serve. FROZEN PUMPKIN DESSERT ¾ cup pumpkin ½ cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 1 gallon vanilla ice cream a dash of salt Mix and put in crust. In greased 9 inch pie pan, put 1 cup vanilla wafer crumbs, ¼ cup melted oleo and 3 tablespoons powdered sugar. Double this recipe for one large cake pan. Store in freezer. FROSTING for pumpkin cake…. 1 package cream-cheese 3 ounces 1 teaspoon vanilla ½ cup oleo 2 cups powder sugar. Add a few drops of orange food coloring Note: yellow food coloring and a tiny bit of red food coloring makes orange.
