my principal

I teach in a small town in northern New Jersey. I have a great principal, not perfect, but he remembers what it was like to be in the classroom (most of the time). He tells us at the beginning of the year that if we need a break from a kid to send the kid, or ourselves, to the office. He doesn't see it as we can't handle the kid. He realizes that sometimes you need to remove a child from a situation for the good of everyone involved. I keep telling him he can't retire until I do.
